Japanese dubbed version of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the latest
installment in the Spiderman franchise, which will hit theaters in Japan on
June 16. Notably, this marks LiSA’s first time performing a theme song for
a Hollywood movie.
“REALiZE” is LiSA’s first new release in seven months since her 6th album
LANDER was released in November 2022. The song was specially written for
the Japanese dubbed version of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
“REALiZE” is a fast-paced rock tune that fully captures LiSA’s heroine
energy, mixed by Zakk Cervini, a renowned mix engineer who has collaborated
with many international artists. It is a must-listen song that transcends
genre boundaries.
In the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the protagonist, Miles
Morales, defies and confronts the “fate” that previous Spider-Men had no
choice but to accept. LiSA approached the movie’s world with sincerity,
weaving a message into the lyrics that resonates with the story. The jacket
photo, depicting “LiSA in the Spider-Verse,” was specially drawn by an
animator involved in the movie’s production.
Alongside the release of “REALiZE,” a lyric video has also been unveiled.
This video incorporates footage from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,
intricately linking the lyrics and the scenes to build excitement for the
upcoming movie release.
